  • Kick-Off Meeting: Saturday, January 5, at 9 am, at Walter Reed Community Center, 2909 16th Street South, Arlington VA
        Directions: From I-395, take Glebe Road (VA-120) north. Turn half-right at Walter Reed Drive. Turn right at next street, 16th Street South. Community Center is on the left. Parking is free.
        Directions: From Arlington Blvd. (US-50), take Fillmore Street south. At 7th Street, Fillmore becomes Walter Reed Drive. Cross Columbia Pike. Turn left at 16th Street South. Community Center is on the left. Parking is free.

  • First workout: Saturday, January 12, at 9 am, at Dunn Loring Metro Station, 2700 Gallows Rd, Fairfax VA
        Directions: From Arlington Blvd. (US-50), take Gallows Road north. Turn left at Prosperity Avenue. Turn right into parking lot. Parking is free.

  • For beginners, intermediate, and advanced marathoners
  • Meet new people and enjoy motivational support on your runs
  • Make new running buddies though Post Training Coffees after each run!
  • Includes support for “Penguins” – runners whose goal is to have the courage to START
  • You receive a training book & log and post-run refreshments
  • No fund-raising required -- this training program is for your benefit

    Coach Jim Kreutel has helped hundreds of runners to finish their first marathon, improve their times, or qualify for Boston with his High-Performance Running (HPFR) technique.
