Distances:

• 16 miles (full marathoners)
• 9 miles (half marathoners)

Route:

We will be running on the W&OD Trail in Arlington this week. We will run the same 11-mile route we did last time, but add a 5-mile loop to the south to the start. The route has some turns and a couple of street crossings, but it is well marked. Mile marker 3.5 will be our start and we’ll run south/east on the trail to start, turning around at mile marker 1. You'll come back past the start where there will be an aid station set up.

• Half marathoners will run 9 miles, turning around at mile marker 5.5.
• Marathoners will turn around at mile marker 9, just after crossing the beltway.
• There will be an aid station just before mile marker 7 (and coincidentally just before crossing Route 7!) that marathoners will pass at 8.5 and 13 miles (plus the one at 5 miles).
